This list is organized alphabetically by cities, then alphabetically by cattery name if there are multiple catteries registered in that city.

CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM FOR REGISTERED CATTERY NAMES

In May 2020, FCPI established a classification system for registered cattery names for the purpose of:

  1. providing pertinent information on the guarantees or limits of owning a WCF cattery name,
  2. establishing a convenient way for the buying public to determine the registration status of the cats owned and exhibited by the cattery owner, and
  3. incentivizing WCF cattery name owners to aspire for the highest standards of cattery management, aligned with animal welfare legislation.

FCPI classifies registered cattery names in three levels upon their attainment of clearly defined and progressively stringent milestones:

BREEDING PROGRAM TYPES

The FCPI further assigns breeding program types A, B, orto Level 2 and 3 catteries to help prospective cat owners determine the registration status of the cattery owner’s cats:

SUPERIOR DESIGNATION (S)

Level 2 and 3 catteries may attain an additional (S) designation upon receiving passing marks from a  voluntary cattery inspection program conducted by a licensed veterinarian.

If your cat has an authentic, certified pedigree from another international organization, they are eligible to be registered with FCPI.

In order for us to register your future kittens and keep its pedigree, its parents must be registered with FCPI as well.

Cats that are mixed breed may be recorded as household pets (HHP), unless both breeds are recognized as allowed outcrosses under WCF or WCC rules. If such is the case, they may enter the full pedigree register, foundation cat or provisional list, depending on the requirements they meet. Domestic cats (puspins) may also be recorded as HHP.
